About Us
Publik Education is a British pub-style table quiz built around good questions, good company, and a little friendly competition. We bring the classic pub quiz tradition to life with general knowledge trivia and a variety of games designed to challenge your brain, teach you something new, and give you plenty to argue about along the way.
But trivia is about more than getting the right answer. It is the friends around your table, the teammate who somehow knows every random fact (or does a really good job pretending they do), the debates that get way too serious, and the rival team you learn to love beating. We’re here to create nights where people laugh, learn, compete, and come back for more.
Why Partner With Us?
We’re a small, tight-knit team of nerds who genuinely love trivia. Between us, we have spent decades as trivia hosts, question writers, and quizzers — and we still play whenever we get the chance.
We know what makes a trivia night fun because we have been on both sides of the table. We understand the satisfaction of a great question, the thrill of stumbling into an obscure answer, the importance of a good mix of categories, and, of course, the heartbreak of being one answer away from a win.
We don’t just make trivia. We play it. A lot. And that experience goes into every quiz we create.
Meet your professor
Nick fell in love with pub trivia at fourteen years of age while washing glasses behind the bar at an Irish pub in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He spent too many high school nights avoiding schoolwork and playing pub trivia instead, with friends and strangers alike. He began writing his own trivia questions and hosting trivia events while in college. Nick dreamed of starting his own trivia company after graduating from university, but his career as an educator demanded all of his attention. His trivia dreams were shelved. Until now. Nick is now a teacher in the Charleston area by day, and a dedicated trivia host and player by night.
The name Publik Education Trivia pays homage to Nick’s heritage, his Irish pub experiences, and his entire life — of which just about every single day has been spent in school. Nick eagerly awaits the opportunity to entertain your patrons, bring your business success, and spread the good vibes.
